One Thousand

Look at all these people who decided to click on a link for a boring blog that they shouldn't read.
I specifically warned them not to, but they didn't listen.

And now there have been one thousand page views! It's a Christmas miracle!
And sure, at least half of these views were from me but we won't go into that.

I would just like to congratulate each and every one of you who have helped me other these past 3 or so years and brought this blog to an almighty number. I know none of you in real life. I don't plan on meeting any of you in real life. I haven't internet-talked to any of you on Derek Landy's blog for well over a year.
I was going somewhere with that...

Blu Tack. Because Why Not?

Blu Tack is possibly the greatest thing every invented by mankind. If you disagree you are a liar and should eternally burn in hell :)  Anyway, here is some stuff on Blu Tack, because I know that you know nothing whatsoever about this magical substance.

Blu Tack is the original reusable adhesive. The unique formula makes Blu Tack distinct from all the imitations that have attempted to challenge its market dominance. Blu Tack offers a clean, safe and a simple alternative to tapes and pins. It also benefits from the customer loyalty that has been built up over the last 30 years.

Bostik Blu Tack product is readily recognised by parents of school age children, children and educationalists. Because Blu Tack is able to complete a wide variety of tasks, it has become a household necessity since 1971 and is widely used in the home, school and office by everyone. Blu Tack is so well known that it's become an icon in Australia and the United Kingdom.

The product was discovered in England during the development of a Bostik industrial adhesive. Blu Tack was originally white during the concept stage, but fears raised in consumer research about the new tack being mistaken by children for sweets that led to the tack becoming blue.

These large sausages are passed through a heated extruder that feeds eight continuous strips of Blu Tack onto special release paper. They then pass through a guillotine and cut to size to fit into the envelopes. Once guillotined, the BluTack is wrapped automatically in its familiar envelope and packed into a carton for shipping. Features & Benefits Permanently plastic and pliable. Reusable Available in strips for ease of use. Made in Australia Suitable for Children 5 years & Up

A simple picture of the Blu Tack packaging I found on Google Images.

All this information is from the homepage of Blu Tack.
Would you look at that? I put a link and everything. I'm such a genius.
(Ironically, I misspelled genius and then corrected it)

Good Evening...

I felt like I needed to post something. I don't know why. There's nothing particularly interesting happening and nothing that you should be concerned with, so I guess I'm  just blogging because I'm bored.
How very fitting.

Anyway... I'm at school at the moment... at 10:00pm... because I bored here. Also quite fitting.

I have exams coming up the week after next. These are some very important exams that could ultimately change my life. That's a bit of a hyperbola, but you get the point. They aren't the most important, 'cause they're coming up in October(?), but these ones can still alter the ending result, thus altering the rest of my life.
And there I am blogging instead of studying... yeah...

I'm certain you don't want to read about my boring exams, that is, if you exist, so let's change the subject:

HERE IS A DUCK IN A SUIT!

I'm sure that brightened you evening :)

I feel like I need to add more to this post but I seriously can't think of anything. That duck just tops it.
So bye!
Enjoy the boring life that you are surely enduring.

Boring Day 2015

Yes, it's that time of year again!

Get ready for all the un-festive festiveness of International Boring day. A day to do bugger-all all day long, a day where only infomercials are played on the usually exciting television, a day where you decide to think about what you are thinking about and take several seconds to realise you are thinking about trying to think of what you are thinking about which is what you are thinking about (it makes perfect sense, trust me).

This year, I will be celebrating the season slightly differently then how I usually do. You see, I will be doing a driving test so I can get my P plates. "But Mr Duck," I hear you say, "That doesn't sound very boring." Well, wise person who reads my blog, I figured the best way to celebrate Boring Day was to meet the most boring-est people in our society: driving instructors.
I will also be doing a whole heap of holiday homework that I'm putting off right now as I type.
Yep, this year's International Boring Day is going to be a BLAST!
